STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two Staten Island females with ties to a pro-life spiritual company had been arrested once they presumably defaced the Ebony Lives situation mural away from Trump Tower in Manhattan, and then be viewed on movie hours later dumping paint on two other murals in Brooklyn and Harlem.
Bevelyn Beatty, 29, and Edmee Chavannes, 39, both Ebony residents of Stapleton, had been taken into custody when they allegedly smeared black colored paint across the bright yellowish letters which read “Black Lives Matter” on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, authorities said.
